Portable Travel Door Latch

A compact red-and-silver latch that adds a removable door stop while you are inside a room. On a compatible inward-opening door, the metal claw seats in the existing strike opening; close the door, then fit the red stop onto the protruding plate to restrict inward opening. Useful for an extra layer of privacy during a hotel stay or in shared accommodation. Includes one connected latch assembly. Check the door clearance, strike opening and supplied instructions before use.

Metal plate and slider · Red molded plastic handle · Metal connecting chain

• One metal claw plate and one red stop connected by a short chain
• For compatible inward-opening doors; check strike opening and clearance
• Seat the claw in the existing strike opening, close the door and fit the red stop
• Provides an additional privacy/security measure with no tested forced-entry guarantee
• Use from inside the room; practise easy removal and keep exits usable
• Door hardware and styling props are not included

Practise fitting and removing the latch before relying on it. Use only on compatible inward-opening doors while you are inside and can remove it. Keep the release reachable and required emergency exits usable. Do not use it to lock another person in or prevent anyone from leaving. Remove it before leaving the room. This accessory is not a substitute for a working door lock and does not guarantee protection against forced entry. Keep the components together and dry before storage.
